Netflix has released a clip with English subtitles from the upcoming anime adaptation of Baku Yumemakura's "Onmyōji" novels. The clip was shown during the Geeked Week stream on Friday. The series will be available worldwide on Netflix starting November 28.

The anime boasts an impressive lineup of voice actors, including Kenji Hamada as Crown Prince Atsumi, Yui Ishikawa as Tsuyuko, Daisuke Namikawa as Abe Seimei, Shintarō Asanuma as Minamoto Hiromasa, Rina Satou as Ashiya Doman, and Daisuke Kishio as Kamo Yasunori.

The director is Soubi Yamamoto, known for "Meganebu!" and the "This Boy/Kono Danshi" series. The scripts are written by Natsu Hashimoto and Yuiko Katō. The anime is produced by Marvy Jack, with the theme song performed by Ling Tosite Sigure.

Baku Yumemakura began the franchise in 1986 with a series of short stories, followed by three full-length novels between 2000 and 2008, as well as several picture books. The stories are set in a fictional version of Japan's Heian period and revolve around the real-life Onmyōji (a practitioner of Japanese esoteric cosmology) Abe no Seimei.

The anime adaptation "Onmyōji" promises to bring the rich and mystical world of Heian-era Japan to life, exploring the captivating blend of historical and supernatural elements for which the novels are known.
