Netflix released an English-subtitled trailer for its upcoming live-action adaptation of the popular manga "Yu Yu Hakusho" by Yoshihiro Togashi during its "Geeked Week" stream. The series is set to launch worldwide on December 14.
The series features a talented cast, including Takumi Kitamura, Jun Shison, Kanata Hongō, Shūhei Uesugi, Kenichi Takito, Goro Inagaki, and Go Ayano. Takumi Kitamura plays the lead role of Yusuke Urameshi.
The original manga by Togashi (also known for "Hunter X Hunter") was serialized from 1990 to 1994. It tells the story of 14-year-old delinquent Yusuke Urameshi, who dies while saving a child from a car accident and is then given the opportunity to return as a "Spirit Detective" to fight demons.
