The official website for the new anime series by David Production, based on the manga Spriggan (Striker) by Hiroshi Takashige and Ryōji Minagawa, revealed a new image and additional staff for the anime.

Furthermore, alongside the role of character designer, Shūhei Handa is now also credited as Chief Animation Director. Hiroshi Kobayashi (Rage of Bahamut Genesis assistant director, Kill la Kill episode director) is directing the anime. Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan, Mob Psycho 100, Jujutsu Kaisen) is overseeing and writing the scripts for the series, and Shūhei Handa (Little Witch Academia) is designing the characters.

Netflix will release the anime exclusively worldwide in 2021.

The manga's story revolves around Yū Ominae, a high school student who is also a Spriggan, an agent tasked by the ARCAM Corporation with protecting ancient relics of an advanced older civilization from falling into the hands of states and entities that seek to misuse them.
