The brand-new anime adaptation of "Fist of the North Star – FIST OF THE NORTH STAR–", produced for the 40th anniversary of the legendary manga, has announced another voice actor: Kazuya Ichijo will take on the role of Kiba Oyaji, the leader of the brutal Fang Clan.

Kiba Oyaji, also known as "Kiba Daio" (King Fang), is a ruthless leader who treats his subordinates like sons and masters a dangerous martial art called Kazan Gunroken. Ichijo, who previously voiced Raoh in the parody series "DD Fist of the North Star," expressed his excitement: "I'm thrilled to be back after 'DD,' and to play such an important character as the Fang King! I've always liked this character—he's not just a leader, but also masters martial arts and hatches cunning plans. I did my best to make him as hateable as possible without damaging the image of the original."

With the 12th episode titled "The Men Who Saw Tears," airing on June 12, the story enters a decisive phase. After the Fang Clan kills Mamiya's little brother Kou, Mamiya puts on a strong front as the village leader but secretly weeps. Kenshiro and Rei notice her tears and set out to pursue Kou's stolen belongings and the Fang Clan.

The series has been airing since April 2026 on Tokyo MX and BS11, as well as exclusively worldwide on Prime Video. Starting July 4, it will also air on the Me–tere channel. Main voice actors include Shunsuke Takeuchi as Kenshiro, Daiki Yamashita as Bat, M·A·O as Lin, Koji Yusa as Shin, Saori Hayami as Yuria, and Taiten Kusunoki as Raoh. Animation production is handled by TMS Entertainment under the direction of Maeda Hiroshi.

With each new episode, more characters are introduced—recently, voice actors for Devil Rebirth, Takki, and others were announced. The Fang Clan leader is one of the next major challenges for Kenshiro and his friends.
