The completely new anime adaptation of the legendary manga classic "Fist of the North Star" (Japanese: "Hokuto no Ken") has announced three additional voice actors. As the official production team reported, Hiroyuki Kinoshita will voice the village elder of Mamiya's village, Genki Taiga takes on the role of Mamiya's younger brother Kou, and Eiji Hanawa lends his voice to the bar owner. The new characters will be heard for the first time in the eleventh episode, titled "The Man of the South Star" (Japanese: "Nanto no Otoko"), which airs on June 5, 2026.
The announcement coincided with the release of preview images for the upcoming episode. In Episode 11, Kenshiro, the heir to the deadly martial art Hokuto Shinken, meets the woman Mamiya, who resembles his deceased fiancée Yuria. The uncensored version on Prime Video shows violence and grotesque elements uncut. The opening theme song "Hallelujah" is by the band [Alexandros], while the ending features a reinterpretation of the classic "Ai o Torimodose!!" by Toshl.
