After the finale of Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown, there was exciting news for fans of Ken Wakui's Tokyo Revengers manga: The so-called Tenjiku Arc is set to be adapted into an anime.
Along with the announcement of the Tenjiku Arc, new characters were introduced: Nobunaga Shimazaki voices Izana Kurokawa, the leader of the Tenjiku gang in Yokohama, and Tetsu Inada plays Kanji Mochizuki, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku.

Tokyo Revengers began as a manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2017 and concluded in November 2021. The story follows Takemichi Hanagaki, who discovers that his middle school girlfriend Hinata Tachibana was killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang. After time-leaping twelve years back to his middle school days, Takemichi sets out to save Hinata and change his own life by rising to the top of Kanto's most notorious criminal gang.
The manga was adapted into a TV anime, which premiered in April 2021, with its Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown Arc beginning in January 2022.
