The cast has been expanded with Satoshi Hino, who will voice Hajime Saitō, the former leader of the Shinsengumi's third division. Additional cast members include Sōma Saitō, Rie Takahashi, Makoto Koichi, and Taku Yashiro, who will bring the manga characters to life.

The upcoming anime is directed by Hideyo Yamamoto at LIDEN FILMS, with character designs by Terumi Nishii and scripts by Hideyuki Kurata. Yū Takami is in charge of composing the music, while Reol contributes the theme song "Kissaki" (Sword Tip).
