For the popular anime series Date A Live (original title: Dēto A Raibu), another project has been officially initiated. This was announced by the production team on the occasion of the series' 12th anniversary, which is being celebrated with an exclusive illustration by character designer Tsunako.

Kōshi Tachibana, author of the original light novel series, expressed gratitude for the continued support of the fans: "Since the anime began twelve years ago and the first novel was published fourteen years ago, the story of Shido and the spirits like Tohka has reached an unexpectedly large number of people. I am delighted that we can now embark on new paths."

As part of the anniversary celebrations, a limited visual series was also presented, featuring all twelve main characters in summer festival attire. These designs are intended to serve as the basis for a first-ever collectible figure collection. At the same time, a finale event for the special campaign Date A Birthday is taking place in Tokyo, complemented by collaborations with retail partners and additional merchandising projects.

No details have been revealed yet regarding the specific content of the new anime project—whether it will be a continuation, spin-off, or some other form of adaptation. Further updates are expected in the coming months.
