A first promotional video has been released for the upcoming television anime series adaptation of the light novel series "Haibara-kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game" (English title: Haibara’s Teenage New Game+). At the same time, three more cast members have been announced.

The released video offers a first look at the adaptation and shows the main character, Natsuki Haibara, during his unusual time travel. He is a university student who is sent back seven years into his own past and now relives his school days as a high school student. The series follows his endeavor to correct the mistakes of his original youth and live it a second time. A central part in this new chance is his classmate Hikari Hoshimiya, whom Natsuki had secretly been in love with in his first past.

In addition to the previously confirmed voice actors Yūto Uemura (as Natsuki Haibara) and Kanon Takao (as Hikari Hoshimiya), three more performers for important roles have now been officially introduced.

- Miori Motomiya, the athletic and communicative childhood friend of the protagonist, is voiced by Kanna Nakamura.
- Uta Sakura, an energetic and lively classmate, receives her voice through Aya Yamane.
- The role of Yuino Nanase, a quiet and caring close friend of Hikari, is taken on by Sayumi Suzushiro.

The animation production of the series is handled by Studio Comet. The direction is led by Misuzu Hoshino, while Keiichirō Ōchi is responsible for the series composition. The character designs are by Hiromi Ono and the music is composed by Sōnosuke Takao.
A special advance event with a preview of the first four episodes is planned for March 15 in Tokyo. The broadcast of the anime series is expected for April 2026.

The series is based on the light novel series of the same name by author Kazuki Amamiya with illustrations by Gin. Since December 2021, nine volumes have been published by Hobby Japan. The novel series was awarded the grand prize of the HJ Novel Award in 2020. A multi-volume full-color manga adaptation as well as a sequel manga series have also been published. The English-language license for the light novel is held by J-Novel Club.
