The light novel series Mushoku no Eiyuu: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakattan daga by author Nanatsu Kuzu is receiving a TV anime adaptation set to release later this year. The production has revealed initial details, including the casting of protagonist Areru, voiced by Kensho Ono (Black Clover, Haikyuu!!).
In a world where gods bestow professions and abilities, Areru is born as the son of the "Sword Princess" and the "Magic Emperor." However, at the age of 10, he is branded with the stigma of "jobless"—a fate that drives him to attain supernatural powers through sheer training, surpassing even innate talents.
Director Kaoru Hanabishi (Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu) and scriptwriter Chabou Higurashi are leading the project, supported by Studio A-CAT. The released teaser visual depicts Areru with a determined gaze and sword, accompanied by the motto: "Do not despair, keep moving forward."
