The light novel series Kaminiwa-tsuki Kusunoki-tei (The Kusunoki Residence with a Divine Garden) by author Enju is being adapted into a TV series. A first visual preview has been released.
The story depicts the life of the young Minato Kusunoki, who has the habit of constantly taking notes. He takes over the management of a remote mountain villa that was once inhabited by restless spirits. However, due to the unintended effect of his written notes, the atmosphere of the estate transforms into a peaceful environment. This harmonious site eventually attracts various mountain deities who settle there.
The illustration of the first teaser image shows Minato together with a mountain deity in front of the estate in a rural setting. Alongside the adaptation announcement, an official website and an official social media account have been set up.
The original novel is published by KADOKAWA, with the tenth volume released on July 17, 2025. Additionally, a comic adaptation by Anzai Akira has been serialized on the platform ComicWalker since 2021.
Author Enju, original illustrator ox, and comic artist Anzai Akira conveyed their congratulations on the TV series production. To celebrate the occasion, a giveaway of signed copies of the first novel volume is being held via the official channels.
