The light novel series Tsumi ga Tsuyosugite Hojomahō ni Tesseite Ita Kyūtei Majutsushi, Tsuihōsarete Saikyō o Mezasu by author Alto is receiving a TV anime adaptation, set to premiere in October 2024. A first teaser trailer and key visual offer a glimpse into the fantasy world of the series, which revolves around disappointment and new beginnings.
Protagonist Alec Yuglet (voiced by Shūichirō Umeda) long served as the court mage of the crown prince, specializing in support magic. Despite his talent, he is labeled as "useless" and exiled from the royal group. In search of a fresh start, he meets Yorha, a former teammate and genius of support magic, who offers him a second chance. Together, they strive to prove their true strength—beyond the expectations of others.
