New anime adaptation Welcome to the Outcast Restaurant reveals details

The TV animation series Tsuihōsha Shokudō e Yōkoso! (eng. Welcome to the Outcast Inn), based on the light novel series by author Kazuki Amamiya, begins in July 2024. A key visual, an extensive trailer, and further casting details have now been released.

The story follows Dennis, a skilled cook who gets banished from the most powerful guild. When he meets the enslaved Atelier, the two realize their dream of opening their own restaurant together – the Adventurer’s Inn. In this cozy kitchen, Dennis serves dishes that not only delight the palate but also warm the hearts of his eccentric guests.

The key visual shows Dennis behind the counter, surrounded by steaming dishes and a colorful crowd of patrons. Atelier, now the energetic mascot of the establishment, beams while holding a tray. The trailer offers glimpses of humorous everyday scenes as well as the dynamic backgrounds of the supporting characters.

New voice actors:

- Sayumi Suzushiro as Henrietta: A tough warrior who was also cast out from her group.

- Mariya Ise as Vivian: A charming but arrogant mage.

- Sōmi Matsuda as Bachel: A tired scholar with a penchant for self-irony.

The opening theme Unique by Dannie May underscores the lively atmosphere of the series, which blends fantasy elements with culinary passion. The soundtrack promises a mix of upbeat melodies and emotional accents.
