The upcoming TV anime "Senpai is a Boy" has revealed its first key visual, cast, and production team. The anime, based on a work by Pomu, will air on Fuji TV's "Noitamina" block, among others. It centers around Makoto Hanaoka, a high school student who cross-dresses as a girl, and the complex relationships between Makoto, his admirer Saki Aoi, who mistakenly believes he is a girl, and his childhood friend Ryuji Taiga.

Voice actors Shuichiro Umeda, Akira Sekine, and Yuma Uchida have been confirmed for the roles of Makoto, Saki, and Ryuji, respectively.

The anime is produced by Project No.9 under the direction of Nobuyoshi Yanagi. Shoto Niiyama is in charge of character design, Yoriko Tomita handles series composition, and Yukari Hashimoto is responsible for the music.
