New anime "Clevatess: The King of Beasts and the Child and the Corpse Warrior" starts in July

The television adaptation of the manga "Clevatess - Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha" by Yūji Iwahara has received a broadcast date. The first episode of the series begins on July 2. The premiere episode will have an extended runtime.

A third promotional video as well as additional voice roles have been revealed. The footage shows protagonist Alicia, recognizable by her vermilion sword, in battle. Newly added characters such as Neruru are also featured. The voice cast includes:

- Neruru: Aoi Yūki

- Broco: Shigeru Chiba

- Drelle: Hiroki Yasumoto

- Maynard: Chiharu Shigematsu

- Naie: Tomoyo Kurosawa

- Rodd: Tomokazu Seki

- Margo: Mio Tanaka

British musician Ellie Goulding provides the ending song. The specially composed track "Destiny" is partially included in the new promotional video. A statement from the singer is also available.

The story follows Alicia, one of thirteen chosen heroes. Together with her allies, she faces the powerful King of Monsters, Clevatess. A first scene preview and a synopsis for the premiere episode are available.
