New anime film "Ōmuro-ke Dear Friends" is coming to Japanese cinemas

The anime film "Ōmuro-ke Dear Friends," based on the original work by Namori, is set to hit theaters on June 21. Alongside this announcement, the main cover and a special trailer have been revealed.

Following the premiere of "Ōmuro-ke Dear Sisters" on February 2, "Ōmuro-ke Dear Friends" is the second installment in the "Ōmuro-ke" anime film series. The main image features a charming winter scene with Sakurako and Hanako playing in the snow while their sister Nadeshiko watches and suggests they return to the warm house.

"Ōmuro-ke" is a spin-off of the series "Yuru Yuri" and focuses on the daily lives of the three Ōmuro sisters: the mischievous second sister Sakurako, the cool eldest sister Nadeshiko, and the reliable youngest sister Hanako. The series is currently being serialized in Comic Yuri Hime, enchanting readers with its relaxed and laid-back portrayal of the sisters' lives. The latest volume, Volume 7 of the manga, will hit the shelves on February 29.
