An adaptation of the template by nonco with the Japanese title "Canaan-sama wa Akumade Choroi" has been taken into production. The plot presents a romantic comedy in which a naturally optimistic high school student named Kyougi Youji meets the demon Canaan. She attends a human educational institution to consume young souls, which leads to unexpected developments.

Further contributors to the dubbing include speaking roles for several characters. Thus, Jeanne by Suzuki Sayumi, Ami by Kawase Maki, Masurao Nadeshiko by Nanase Ayaka, Miluch Zeburu by Izumi Fūka, Mieru Zeburu by Tōno Hikaru as well as Ririmu Zeburu by Nanjō Yoshino can be heard.

A series of specialists are responsible for the artistic implementation. The direction is under Muroya Yasushi, supported by Isokawa Hisashi as deputy director. The series concept comes from Ikeda Rintarō, while Minagawa Aikari is responsible for the character design.

A first promotional video provides insights into the narrative world and presents selected scenes with romantic and humorous content. The dynamic sequences also show dialogic interactions between the various characters of the production.
