For the upcoming television anime production Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance (魔法少女リリカルなのは EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance), the performer of the opening theme song has been announced. The singer Nana Mizuki, who also voices the role of Fate Testarossa in the series, will contribute the song "CRIMSON BULLET".

Mizuki expressed her delight about the dual role as voice actress and singer and also wrote the song lyrics. She described the title as a powerful rock song meant to reflect the determination of the characters in a harsh world.

The planned series is a completely new production commemorating the franchise's 20th anniversary. The story leads into a world that was brought to the brink of ruin thirty years ago by an unknown, invasive alien species. Humanity is in a constant conflict with these creatures. At the center of the story is Shiina Kuze, a young huntress who lives on a remote island and fights invasive species.

The production is handled by Studio Seven Arcs. The original story and screenplay come from Masaki Tsuzuki, the co-founder of the series. The direction is taken over by Takayuki Hamana, who previously directed the Nanoha films. The character designs for the animation are adapted by Issei Aragaki based on the original designs by Shūichi Kawakami.

Parallel to the anime, a manga adaptation titled Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Exceeds is also being released, which has been published in Kodansha's "Suiyōbi no Sirius" since April 2025.
