New anime production SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes announced

Aniplex and Sony Music have announced their collaboration for an original anime series titled SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes. The broadcast will begin in October. Simultaneously, first insights into the cast, the production team, a teaser visual, and a promo video were released.

The series combines the themes of music and heroism. The plot revolves around the artist group SI-VIS. Behind this formation lies a mysterious collective fighting against a mysterious threat that threatens to wipe out the world. Their concerts serve to gather energy from their audience, which they need for their battle. However, to the public, they remain solely perceived as musicians.

The following voice actors have been confirmed for the main roles:

- Yosuke (led by Hiroshi Kamiya)

- Sirene (voiced by Ayane Sakura)

- μ (Myu, portrayed by Akari Kitō)

- Sōji (voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki)

- June (performed by Sōma Saitō)

The vocal parts will be handled by selected vocalists from Sony Music. Details about the involved singers will be announced later.

The creative direction is handled by:

- Maruto Fumiaki (responsible for script and series, known for Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata and WHITE ALBUM 2) as Series Composer and Screenwriter.

- Hidari (character design, known for Kōtetsujō no Kabaneri and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia) as Original Character Designer.

The first official teaser image, designed by Hidari, offers a look at the members of SI-VIS.
