New anime season celebrates 10th anniversary: Binan Koko Chikyuu Boeibu HAIKARA!! starts in July

The popular anime series Binan Koko Chikyuu Boeibu (engl. Handsome High School Earth Defense Club) returns with a new season. In celebration of the franchise's 10th anniversary, Binan Koko Chikyuu Boeibu HAIKARA!! was announced, premiering on July 7, 2024. Alongside this, a second key visual, a trailer, and extensive cast details were released.

At the center of the story are the members of the Kurotama-Ryō boarding school, who form the HAIKARA Romantic Group to protect the Earth. The group includes:

- Unzen Shinkurō (Voice: Taiga Takano)

- Sukayu Airushi (Voice: Ryūho Nagaoka)

- Ubana Sōsuke (Voice: Tomoaki Kanze)

- Osambe Ushio (Voice: Takahiro Koike)

- Aso Sora (Voice: Taichi Kusano)

As antagonists, the Bankara Shin'ei-tai appear, a group aiming for world domination:

- Dokumeki Suitori (Voice: Tomoaki Maeno)

- Nyuutō Samon (Voice: Yōhei Azakami)

- Neko Ma Sukuru (Voice: Daiki Yamashita)

The ensemble is further supported by additional roles, including Gotemba Ryōchō (Voice: Tomokazu Sugita) and the animal companions Nuru (Voice: Tomomichi Nishimura) and Kyān (Voice: Hiroki Yasumoto).

The second key visual showcases the series' antagonists against a dynamic background, while the trailer reveals first action scenes, transformation sequences, and dialogues. The opening theme HAIKARA de GO!! is performed by the members of the HAIKARA Romantic Group, while the ending theme Zankō in Your Eyes comes from the Bankara Shin'ei-tai.
