The TV anime series "Kowloon Generic Romance," based on the original work by Jun Mayuzuki, has released a new key visual and a second trailer. Additionally, it has been announced that Kengo Kawanishi will voice the role of Yulong. The broadcast will begin on April 5.

The key visual features the main characters Reiko Kujirai, Hatsu Kudou, Miyuki Januma, Tao Nguyen, Yang Ming, Xiao Hei, and Yulong against the backdrop of Kowloon Walled City. The second trailer highlights Reiko's inner conflicts as she discovers her feelings for Kudou while simultaneously confronting the existence of another version of herself. Other characters surrounding Reiko and Kudou, such as Xiao Hei and Yang Ming, are also introduced.

Yulong, voiced by Kengo Kawanishi, is a researcher who, alongside Januma, explores the mysteries of Kowloon. Kawanishi shared his thoughts on the work: "The mysterious atmosphere and the overlapping intrigues of the characters make the story so captivating. It was hard to stop reading, but I also didn’t want to know too much to avoid influencing my performance."

The opening theme song "Summer Time Ghost" is performed by Wednesday Campanella, while the ending theme song "Koi no Retronym" is by Mekakushe. A snippet of the opening song can be heard in the second trailer. Wednesday Campanella commented: "I wrote the lyrics while drawing inspiration from the iced coffees and fans mentioned in the work." Mekakushe added: "I tried to incorporate the Hong Kong atmosphere of the series into the sound and capture the moment when love begins."

"Kowloon Generic Romance" is a mysterious love story set in the nostalgic backdrop of Kowloon Walled City. The story follows Reiko, a real estate agent, and her colleague Kudou, whose relationship develops after Reiko discovers that Kudou once had a fiancée who looked strikingly similar to her. Reiko is voiced by Seiraishi Haruka, while Kudou is portrayed by Tomokazu Sugita.
