New anime series "Maou no Musume wa Yasashisugiru!! / The Demon King's Daughter Is Too Kind!!" announces release

The anime adaptation of the fantasy manga "Maou no Musume wa Yasashisugiru!!" by Yūya Sakamoto has announced its release schedule. The series will air starting January 6, 2026.

The series is set in a demon world and revolves around Du, the daughter of the Demon King. Her exceptionally kind and caring nature brings unexpected changes to her otherwise terrifying surroundings. A newly released key visual shows the protagonists Du, her worried guardian Jahy, and the observing Demon King Arliman. An extensive trailer offers further insight into the turbulent everyday comedy.

In addition to the already announced cast, three more roles have been filled:

- Arisa Itō as Sati, a member of the "Seduction Witches" unit.

- Kaori Ishihara as Melina, a demon with special abilities.

- Yūko Sanpei as Mayu, a willful angel.

The series' theme songs have been decided. The opening song "We Can Do!!" is performed by voice actress and singer Kaori Ishihara. The ending song is a character song titled "Ikko Niko Niko", sung by the voice actors of the main characters Jahy (Ayaka Ōhashi), Du (Misaki Kuno), and Arliman (Akio Ōtsuka).
