New anime series "The Beginning After the End" starts in April

The first season of the anime series "The Beginning After the End" will air starting April 2. Alongside this, a new key visual, a main trailer, and details about the opening theme have been released.

The story follows the most powerful king in history, Gray, who is reborn as a helpless baby named Arthur in a magical world after his death. In his new life, he must face challenges while experiencing the love and support of his family and friends.

The newly announced voice actors include Yamato Kaneshiro as Arthur's father Reynolds and Rena Maeda as his mother Alice. Other characters appearing in the series are Darden (voiced by Shinya Takahashi), Adam (Taiki Kimura), Helen (Yuu Ogura), and Angela (Riko Akechi), all members of the adventurer group "Twin Horns." Additionally, Shiori Izawa will voice the mysterious figure Sylvia, whom Arthur encounters in the forest.

The key visual features Arthur, the heroine Teshia, his parents Reynolds and Alice, and the members of the "Twin Horns." The main trailer offers glimpses into Arthur's development as he resolves to use his powers this time to protect his loved ones, in contrast to his lonely and ruthless former life as a king.

The opening theme "KINGSBLOOD" is performed by KALA, a Canadian artist and member of a well-known e-sports team. KALA expressed her excitement about being part of the project in a statement.

The series is based on the original work by TurtleMe and is produced under the direction of Yoshitaka Tokushin. The main roles are voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara (Arthur), Shin Furukawa (Gray), and Kana Ichinose (Teshia).
