New “Precure” film: title and key visuals revealed!

The latest film in the "Precure" series is officially titled "Wonderful Precure! The Movie: Doki Doki♡ Great Adventure in the Game World!" Along with this announcement, the key visual and main trailer have been released. It has been confirmed that characters from "Hirogaru Sky! Precure" and "Mahou Tsukai Precure!" will also appear in the film.

The film, set to premiere on September 13, follows the adventures of Komugi and Iroha, who are transported into the game world of "Doki Doki♡ Tanu Kingdom" and separated from each other. They embark on a grand adventure to return to their original world. The key visual features the miniaturized Cure Wonderful characters, as well as Komugi, Yuki, and Daifuku walking on two legs. Additionally, the mysterious raccoon dog Mujina and a enigmatic girl are shown. The trailer showcases the CG-rendered game world, various challenges Komugi and Yuki must face, and the appearances of Cure Sky and Cure Miracle.

The film is directed by Naoki Miyahara, known for his work on "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK." Miyahara mentioned that the Precure characters are depicted smaller in the game world to make them more relatable, and the animals walk on two legs to bring the perspective closer. The screenplay is written by Yoichi Kato, known for the series "Aikatsu!" and "Yo-kai Watch," with character designs by Risa Miyadani from "Aikatsu Planet!" The ending theme "Happy≒Future" is performed by Moeha Kokomo and Chihaya Yoshitake, while the insert song "Daisuki no Kizuna" is sung by Ami Ishii and Rie Kitagawa. Both songs can be heard in the main trailer.
