The production team for the announced television series based on Tadatoshi Fujimaki's manga "KILL BLUE" has announced the casting of two additional voice actors. Accordingly, Shoya Chiba will portray the character Kazuma Ryūtan, while Yoshiki Nakajima will lend his voice to his brother Agei Ryūtan.
The two brothers are experienced contract killers working for the influential organization JARDIN. Kazuma Ryūtan, voiced by Chiba, uses hypnotic abilities when carrying out his assignments. His brother Agei, on the other hand, whose part is taken over by Nakajima, is characterized primarily by his extraordinary physical strength and the unorthodox use of a golf club as a weapon.
In initial statements, both voice actors commented on their new roles. Chiba expressed his delight at the opportunity to portray such a multi-layered character, who, with his unusual methods, reminds the protagonist of his true profession. Nakajima, in turn, looked forward with anticipation to interpreting the character he voices and their upcoming confrontations.
The series is being produced at Studio CUE and is scheduled to premiere in April. On the occasion of AnimeJapan 2026, a panel discussion with other participants in the production is also planned. The main roles known so far include Yuko Sanpei as the young protagonist Jūsan Ōkami and Shunsuke Takeuchi, who voices the adult version of this character.
