New Cast and Teaser Visual for Anime "Killed Again, Mr. Detective?" Revealed

Additional details have been revealed for the upcoming anime adaptation of the mystery light novel "Killed Again, Mr. Detective?" (Japanese: "Mata Korosarete Shimatta no desu ne, Tantei-sama"). The series, scheduled to begin in April 2026, is gaining support with four established voice actors, and a new teaser image offers a glimpse into the story's atmosphere.

The released image shows the protagonist Sakuya Otsuki resting with closed eyes on the lap of his assistant Lilithea. His condition suggests he has been killed again, while Lilithea looks down at him with a worried expression. This depiction visualizes the central motif of the story: Sakuya possesses the unusual ability to return to life after each death and uses it to solve complex criminal cases.

The series is being expanded with several key roles portrayed by experienced voice actors:

- Yuriu Haigamine, a rising actress, whose voice is provided by Yoshino Aoyama (known from various anime productions).

- Kaoruta Sozorogi, a police detective who has long been acquainted with the hero Sakuya. This role is voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi, who in his career has voiced characters such as Kamina ("Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann") and Laxus Dreyar ("Fairy Tail").

- Shardina Inferishiasu, a dangerous criminal who belongs to the group of the "Seven Old Men." She is voiced by the award-winning Rie Kugimiya, known among other roles for voicing Alphonse Elric in "Fullmetal Alchemist" and Shana in "Shakugan no Shana."

- Belka Zeppelin, the assistant of a famous detective from Great Britain. Her voice is provided by Yuki Takada.

The plot follows high school student and detective Sakuya Otsuki, who, together with his assistant Lilithea, investigates mysterious incidents. The series is based on the light novel written by Teniwoha and illustrated by Riichu, which has been published since 2021.

The animated adaptation is produced by Studio Liden Films under the direction of Takashi Naoya. The main roles are voiced by Rikuya Yasuda (as Sakuya Otsuki) and Shion Wakayama (as Lilithea).
