New cast announced for anime “Operation Yozakura Family.”

The popular anime series "Operation Yozakura Family," based on the original work by Gonpei Hitsuji, has announced its cast for the second season. The announcement introduces new voices for the series, including Kazuyuki Okitsu, Aoi Yūki, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and Yūmi Uchiyama.

The anime, set to air in 2024, revolves around the Yozakura family, each member of which possesses special abilities. Kazuyuki Okitsu voices Yozakura Karasa, a weapons specialist. Aoi Yūki plays Yozakura Shiurui, a genius hacker and passionate gamer. Yūmi Uchiyama portrays Yozakura Nanao, a character with extraordinary strength and medical skills. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka takes on the dual role of Yozakura Iyago, a master of disguise, and Goliath, the family's pet dog.

A series of short videos introducing the characters has also been released, along with comments from the four voice actors.

The story follows a high school student named Asano Taiyo, who struggles to communicate with others due to certain circumstances. It is a portrait of a family of spies who act with love and humor. The manga version of the story is currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and has been published up to Volume 19.
