Further details have been announced for the upcoming anime production "Kaya-chan Isn't Scary" (Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai). The series is based on the original story by Yuri Taro and features both new voice actors and a comprehensive main theme.

The plot is conceived as a horror story set in a kindergarten environment. At the center is the kindergarten teacher Chie, who makes an unexpected discovery: She finds out that the girl Kaya, who is classified as a problem child, possesses hidden abilities. The published main image visualizes this contrast clearly – it visually separates the everyday world of the kindergarten from the eerie sphere of supernatural phenomena that Kaya can perceive.

The production team has announced four additional voice roles. Kaji Yuki lends his voice to Namu, a mysterious young man with mediumistic talent, who perceives Kaya as a threat. The self-proclaimed occult author Mobo, who possesses his own spiritual powers and pursues Kaya, is voiced by Fukutsugu Ochiai. The role of the kindergarten teacher Akira, who is responsible for the middle group, is performed by Azusa Tadokoro. The kindergarten teacher Chihiro, who supervises various groups, is voiced by Shiori Izawa.

Personal statements from these four voice actors are also available. Additionally, a giveaway is being held on the series' official X account, where hand-signed color papers from the voice actors are being raffled off. An initial campaign with a signed paper from Kaji Yuki had already taken place previously.
