New character look for original anime to be hero x unveiled

Starting today, March 12th, the production of the original anime TO BE HERO X will release daily exclusive character videos, each showcasing one of the ten heroes from the series. Kicking things off is Nice, who ranks 10th in the hero rankings.

The series, co-produced by bilibili and Aniplex, is set in a world where a hero's popularity is determined by public "trust." The higher their approval rating, the more influential their position becomes.

Today's released video features Nice, voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer), as he gracefully battles a stadium-destroying foe while rescuing a girl. The scene is underscored by the track PARAGON composed by Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan). Hanae remarks: "Nice is a character who isn't easy to figure out—a mix of charm and unpredictability."

TO BE HERO X combines spectacular action with socially critical undertones, questioning the ambivalence of fame and responsibility. The daily character videos aim to highlight the diverse personalities and abilities of the heroes leading up to the series' premiere in April.
