The production team for the TV adaptation of the light novel series 'A Tale of the Secret Saint' (Japanese: 'Tensei shita Daiseijo wa, Seijo de Aru Koto wo Hitakakusu') has unveiled new character visuals created specifically for the series. The illustrations, drawn by character designer Satomi Kurita, depict the characters Desmond Ronan, Zachary Townsend, Quentin Agata, and Charlotte. Concurrently, illustrator Takuya Fujima released official mini character graphics of Desmond, Zachary, Quentin, Clarissa, Charlotte, and Fabian.

The series will air on Japanese television starting October 2026. It is based on the light novel series of the same name by Touya, which has been serialized on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform since January 2019 and has since been published by Earth Star Entertainment. The English license is held by Seven Seas Entertainment. The story follows young Fia Ruud, who grows up in a family of knights and, just before her death, regains memories of her past life as an overpowered Great Saint. To escape a deadly threat from her former life, she hides her powers and tries to live as an ordinary knight.

The animation production is handled by Studio FelixFilm, known for works such as 'Aharen-san wa Hakarenai' and 'Dahlia in Bloom'. The series is directed by Tomoe Makino, with assistant director Naoki Murata. Series composition is by Deko Akao, and music by Kenichiro Suehiro. The main cast includes Shion Wakayama as Fia Ruud, Shinnosuke Tokudome as Zavilia, Yuichiro Umehara as Saviz Nerv, and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Cyril Sutherland. Additional voice roles include Tasuku Hatanaka (Desmond Ronan), Daiki Hamano (Zachary Townsend), Tomokazu Sugita (Quentin Agata), Yukari Tamura (Clarissa Abanessi), Shunichi Toki (Enoch), Daiki Yamashita (Fabian Winer), and Miyuri Shimabukuro (Charlotte).

The original light novel ranked second in the single volume/novels category of 'Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi!' for the years 2024, 2025, and 2026. The series was originally scheduled to premiere in April 2026 but has been postponed to October.
