New characters and actors for Ninja Batman vs. Yakuza League revealed at New York Comic Con 2024

At the ongoing New York Comic Con 2024, a new promotional video and cast for the anime Ninja Batman vs. Yakuza League were revealed. The action-packed anime introduces new characters and a star-studded voice cast. Ayane Sakura will voice Midorihikari no Korejika Green Lantern, Akio Otsuka as Mizuryū no Aasa Aquaman, Nobuyuki Hiyama as Idaten no Haributa Flash, and Romi Park as Ōwashi Tennyo no Ōana Wonder Woman. Kazuhiko Inoue will play the villain Ra's Al Ghul.

The promo video begins with the announcement of a "Yakuza storm warning," followed by a dramatic sequence where the Yakuza descend upon Gotham and a Japanese islandscape appears in the sky. Batman and his allies soon face off against Yakuza versions of Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Flash.

Directors Jumpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takagi, as well as screenwriter Kazuki Nakashima, were present at the event. As a special treat, an 11-minute preview of the anime's opening scenes was shown.
