New characters and music releases for [i]Vigilante – My Hero Academia Illegals[/i]

The current episode of „Vigilante – My Hero Academia Illegals“ brings several exciting new developments. On June 23, a mysterious antagonist with a striking facial injury made his debut. The role of this scarred man is played by Taku Yashiro, who introduces the character in episode 12 as the shadowy mastermind behind the so-called „Trigger Incident“ – an event previously attributed to the character Hachisuka. Yashiro himself expressed enthusiasm about the complexity of his role: „The challenge of shaping his identity and motives through voice was particularly appealing.“

In addition to the new character, musical highlights are also in focus. Starting June 24, two songs from the series are officially available. „Marukane Department Store Song REMIX,“ performed by FeatherHATS – a band consisting of Pop☆Step as well as the characters Miū and Yuū – is part of a live performance that was first seen in episode 12. The full performance was simultaneously released on YouTube. The composition was handled by Yūki Hayashi, while the lyrics were written by Hidenori Furuhashi.

The song „My Hero,“ sung by Pop☆Step (voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa), was also presented as a stage performance in the same episode. Here, Yūki Hayashi once again provided the music, while Yuno Sonoda wrote the lyrics.
