New details have emerged for the upcoming anime adaptation of the game NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE (known in the West as Needy Streamer Overload). The production is introducing an exclusive group created for the anime named Karamazov and has announced the corresponding voice actresses.

The newly created unit consists of three characters, portrayed by the following voice actresses:

- Purple Lollipop (the leader): Voiced by Rina Kawaguchi.
- Gokubara Michika: Voiced by Satsuki Shiina.
- Nechika-sama: Voiced by Seina Hoshiki.

A new official key visual presents the three characters together with the original game's protagonist, also known as Super Ten-chan or KAngel.

The involved voice actresses and the director have shared their thoughts on the project.

Rina Kawaguchi, the voice of Purple Lollipop, expressed her great joy at being able to participate in a work she has long appreciated herself. She promised to do her best to fully bring out the charm of the series.

Satsuki Shiina talked about her first studio audition experience for the role of Gokubara Michika and how fascinated she was by the character. She expressed her happiness at having received the role.

For Seina Hoshiki, the voice of Nechika-sama, it is a special feeling to be part of the adaptation of such a popular work. She looks forward to seeing how the story is told with the new characters.

Director Masaoki Nakashima of Yostar Pictures emphasized that great care was taken during the adaptation to respect the unique style of the original creators and translate it appropriately into animation. He pointed to the passion and dedication of the entire production team.
Special Cinema Preview Screening Planned

Even before the planned series premiere in April 2026, there will be a special preview event in cinemas. Titled NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE -OVERTURE-, this preview will be shown in select cinemas from March 6th. Advance tickets, available from January 25th, will include a special clear file with the new key visual.

The anime series is based on a multi-layered adventure game first released in January 2022. The story follows over 30 days a girl with a strong need for recognition who wants to become famous as a streamer, as well as the person supporting her, known as "P". The game has achieved over three million downloads and developed into a well-known title of internet culture.
