New commercial film and additional voice actors for "Yuusha Kei ni Shosu: Choubatsu Yuusha 9004-tai Keimu Kiroku"

A second promotional video has been released for the anime television series "Yuusha Kei ni Shosu: Choubatsu Yuusha 9004-tai Keimu Kiroku" (in English: "Penalized Heroic Unit 9004: Prison Logs"). Additionally, two more cast members have been announced.

The information was presented at the Kyoto International Manga & Anime Fair 2025 event. Shôya Chiba will play the role of Jace Partlact, a dragon rider who acts as air support for his unit. Yôko Hikasa voices Nilly, a female dragon who fights by his side. Statements from both actors are also available.

The new promotional video begins with a scene where the protagonist Zailo experiences his punishment. The release contains previously unseen scenes with characters such as Norgayu Senridge, Tatsuya, and Tsarv, featuring the voices of their respective actors.

The plot of the series revolves around the former Holy Knight Zailo, who is imposed with the so-called "hero-hood" – a punishment where he must fight against the Demon King without being allowed to die. On his journey, he encounters the "Sword Goddess" Theolitta, with whom he fights for survival and plans revenge. The series is voiced by Azaue Yôhei as Zailo and Mayu Iizuka as Theolitta.
