A global streaming provider and the Japanese animation studio MAPPA have agreed to a long-term collaboration. The goal of this alliance is the joint development and production of animation content for viewers worldwide.

The studio MAPPA has made a name for itself through a series of works recognized for their unique style and visual execution. The streaming service will use its international reach to make these new productions accessible to an audience outside of Japan.

The planned collaboration encompasses various phases, from the initial conception of a story to related marketing opportunities. Initial joint series projects are currently in production and are to be released later exclusively via the streaming service's platform.

Representatives from both companies emphasized that through this partnership they want to embark on new creative paths while simultaneously further increasing the popularity of Japanese animation.
