For the upcoming anime adaptation of the fantasy light novel series "Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling" (Japanese title: Tensei shitara Dragon no Tamago Datta), new promotional materials and two additional voice actors have been announced.

A comprehensive main trailer (Main Promotional Video) has been released, presenting the first scenes and the mood of the series. The series' theme songs are also heard for the first time in this trailer. The opening song "Gliding Claw" is performed by Sizuk, while the ending song "Sky Clipper" is by Dōkō & Sakusaku.

Furthermore, an updated official key visual has been unveiled. This visual now shows, alongside the already known main characters – the protagonist Ilusia, reborn in a dragon egg, and the young woman Myria – the two newly announced characters Marielle and Black Lizard.

The series is receiving reinforcement through two additional main characters, portrayed by renowned voice actresses.

The role of Marielle, a half-elf who lives in a village in the forest and serves as a mentor-like figure for Myria with her vast knowledge, will be played by Rie Kugimiya. Black Lizard (Japanese: Kuro Tokage), a small lizard equipped with a potent special poison, will be voiced by Tomori Kusunoki.

The plot of the series follows Ilusia, who finds himself reborn as a defenseless dragon egg in a fantasy world and must evolve through various stages to become the most powerful dragon in order to survive. The adaptation is based on a successful light novel series by Nekoko with illustrations by NAJI Yanagida, which has achieved a total circulation of over one million copies.

The anime production team is led by director Yūta Takamura. The animation is being produced in a collaboration between the studios GA-CREW and Felix Film. The anime series is scheduled to begin on January 10, 2026, on the AT-X channel. Internationally, the series has been licensed by the streaming service HIDIVE.
