As part of a special streaming event dedicated to the anime Oshi no Ko, new details about the anime project were revealed. Among other things, the release date of the series was announced, which will be in April 2023. Additionally, the anime will premiere on March 17th with a 90-minute extended version of the first episode being shown in theaters. The event also featured the debut of a promotional trailer.



The adaptation of the manga Oshi no Ko is being handled by the studio Doga Kobo.

Oshi no Ko is one of the most popular series in Weekly Young Jump. Written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, the story has been serialized since April 2020. In the Japanese market, it has already been released in 9 volumes. The work was nominated for the Manga Taishō Awards in 2021 and 2022, ranking fifth, and was also nominated for the 67th Shogakukan Manga Award while winning the Next Manga Award.
