More than half a year after the announcement of the fourth season of Bungou Stray Dogs, new information was finally released during the Crunchyroll Expo. During the event, a first trailer was shown, revealing that the new season, which will be available on the mentioned streaming platform, will premiere in January 2023. A new promotional poster was also revealed.



Takuya Igarashi returns to direct the fourth season at Bones. Other returning staff members include series composer and scriptwriter Youji Enokido, character designer Nobuhiro Arai, and music composer Taku Iwasaki.

The first TV anime adaptation aired from April to June 2016. The second 12-episode season of the anime was broadcast from October to December 2016. The third season of the anime premiered in April 2019. Both Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the series.
