The planned 2024 film of the Doraemon series is officially titled "Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Chikyū Symphony," translated as "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Earth Symphony." This information was announced by the staff of the anime series along with details about the creative team and a visual preview.

As the 43rd film of the beloved franchise, "Nobita's Earth Symphony" promises a special story with a music-oriented theme. The plot follows Doraemon and his companions as they embark on an adventure where music is the central thread, new friendships are formed, and global crises are overcome.

The film will be directed by Kazuaki Imai, who has previously worked on earlier Doraemon films. The screenplay is written by Teruko Utsumi, who has also served as a writer for the TV series. The cast of the TV series will return to voice their respective characters in the film.

"Nobita's Earth Symphony" is scheduled for release in March 2024. This follows the previous film in the franchise, "Nobita's Sky Utopia," which achieved strong box office results during its opening weekend in March 2023.
