New image and new voice in the anime trailer for "The Elusive Samurai"

The TV anime adaptation of "The Elusive Samurai," originally created by Matsui Yūsei, has revealed a new character visual and promotional video featuring the character Ayako. Ayako, voiced by Suzushiro Sayumi, is a member of the Tokiyuki faction, known for her cheerfulness and extraordinary strength. Suzushiro expressed her deep affection for the role, stating that she had fun playing Ayako even during the audition.

The anime "The Elusive Samurai" is set during the Kamakura Shogunate and follows the life of Hojo Tokiyuki, the second eldest son of Shogun Hojo Takatoki. After losing everything in a rebellion led by Ashikaga Takauji, Tokiyuki flees Kamakura with the help of the devout priest Suwa Yorishige. While the series continues in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, viewers can follow Tokiyuki's adventures as he survives the turbulent era through evasion.
