New information about the anime series "Yoroiden Samurai Trooper: Samurai Trooper Legend" released

Extensive new details have been presented for the upcoming anime continuation "Yoroiden Samurai Trooper" (English: "Samurai Trooper Legend"). The series, which is positioned as the official successor to the original animation series that aired from 1988 to 1989, presents a completely new story in the present-day Shinjuku district of Tokyo.

A newly released key visual shows the five heroic Samurai Troopers in their armor, with the mysterious silhouette of the Demon Emperor Ramaga looming before them. An extensive trailer provides the first moving glimpses into the plot and the confrontation between the heroes and the demonic forces.

The series is supplemented by several new voice roles. The ensemble includes, among others:

- Toshiiki Masuda as Ryusei Oda, a mentor figure for the Troopers

- Lynn as Mirei Aragaki, a researcher

- Katsuyuki Konishi as the Demon Emperor Ramaga

Other well-known voice actors such as Takaya Sato, Kosuke Toriumi, Takuma Terashima, Tomokazu Sugita, and Kohei Amazaki take on the roles of Ramaga's powerful followers.

The music for the first part of the series has been selected. The opening song "YOAKE" is performed by the group blank paper. The ending song "POWER" is provided by the group ONE OR EIGHT.
