New details have been revealed regarding the anime adaptation of "Nageki no Bōrei wa Intai shitai" (English title: "The Lamenting Ghost Wants to Retire"). The second season of the series begins its broadcast on October 6. Additionally, an advance release on selected streaming platforms will take place on October 4.

The plot revolves around the ordinary young man Cry, who leads a group of exceptionally talented youths. Although he himself possesses no special abilities, he guides the team "Strange Grief" through various adventures.

In line with this announcement, a new key visual and an extensive promotional video have been released. The video provides insights into the plot of the upcoming episodes, in which Cry and his companions embark on a vacation trip to escape a new challenge.

Additionally, parts of the new musical accompaniment can be heard in the video. The title "Algorithmus" by Kiyono Yasuno has been selected for the opening sequence. The ending will be created with the song "Ein Stück vom Traum" by the group i☆Ris.
