New insights into the fourth season of Rent-A-Girlfriend: teaser and exclusive visuals unveiled

For the fourth season of the popular anime adaptation Kanojo, Okarishimasu ("Rent-A-Girlfriend") by Reiji Miyajima, further details were presented at AnimeJapan 2025. A new teaser offers first glimpses into the "Hawaiians" arc, where the characters visit the eponymous amusement park. Scenes featuring Chizuru Mizuhara in swimwear as well as dynamic group interactions are shown, among others.

As the second part of the "Date Visual" series, an image of the ambivalent ex-girlfriend Nanami Mami was released. The illustration shows Mami on a train platform, accompanied by blooming hydrangeas—a hint at the summer atmosphere of the storyline. Voice actress Aoi Yūki (Madoka Magica) commented ironically: "In Season 4, Mami returns to fill your hearts with icy coldness and tension. Expect sweet girl moments—and shuddering fear!"

The fourth season, which will air in two parts starting July 2025, focuses on humorous to dramatic conflicts, particularly through Mami's manipulative behavior and Kazuya's growing emotional maturity. The spotlight is on the development of relationship dynamics against the exotic backdrop of the theme park, which fosters both romantic and chaotic moments.
