New insights into the third anime season of To Your Eternity

A new key visual and a current trailer for the third season of the anime series To Your Eternity (Japanese title: Fumetsu no Anata e) have been released. The materials offer a preview of the final developments in the current story arc.

The series, based on the manga by Yoshitoki Ōima, follows the journey of the immortal being Fushi. The new key visual shows Fushi together with Mizuha, a descendant of the Guardians. Mizuha is a young middle school student considered talented, but under pressure from her family and with a complicated connection to the Guardians' legacy. The trailer hints at an intense confrontation where Fushi searches for Mizuha and heads to the Guardians' headquarters. At the same time, his companions must defend themselves against Nokkers who have taken on Fushi's form.

The dynamic relationship between Fushi and Mizuha represents a central conflict of the ongoing season. The story explores the nature of the Nokkers and raises questions about whether coexistence with them is possible. The series addresses profound concepts such as life, death, and the human soul.

For the third season, several key members of the production team return, including chief director Kiyoko Sayama. The direction is handled by Sōta Yokote. The opening theme is performed by the group Perfume with the song Fumetsu no Anata.

The manga on which the series is based was published from 2016 to 2025 and has received several awards. The anime adaptation launched its first season in April 2021. The third season is now approaching its finale and promises to bring Fushi's narrative in its current arc to a climax.
