New insights into the upcoming anime film Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: The Lonely Dragon

To the film Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: The Lonely Dragon based on the work by Cool Kyoushinja, the main trailer as well as details about the musical contributions have now been released. The trailer shows the arrival of Kanna’s father, Kimun Kamui, and a mysterious figure named Aazard in the human world. Both seem to have their sights set on a magical dragon stone, which is crucial for battles among dragons. In emotional scenes, Kanna asks her father for recognition, highlighting the complex relationship between the characters.

As the ending theme, Bokutachi no Hibi by Kobayashi Sachiko was selected, an artist who is already closely associated with the franchise. For the instrumental part and additional recordings, Kotoringo is responsible, who also composed the music for the second anime season. Director Tatsuya Ishihara and Sachiko Kobayashi commented in statements on the creation of the film and the musical collaboration.
