The anime adaptation of the popular light novel series "The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior" is gaining momentum with the latest announcement. The announcement also introduces several new cast members, including M.A.O, Junichi Suwabe, and Shizuka Ishigami, who will portray the characters Sefek, Val, and Kemet, respectively. Each character brings a unique perspective to the story, from Sefek's special abilities to Val's elusive profession.
This anime, directed by Norio Nitta, boasts an extensive cast lineup. Among them, Ai Fairouz, Maaya Uchida, Haruka Tomatsu, and Junya Enoki will lend their voices to the characters Pride, Steyr, Tiara, and Arthur. Behind the scenes, Deko Akao is responsible for the series composition, while Hitomi Kōno handles the character design. The music for the series is a collaborative effort by Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma, and Junko Nakajima.
The story itself is a twist on the reincarnation-into-a-game-world trope. The protagonist, Pride Royal Ivy, is reborn as the future villainess of an otome game. Rather than submitting to her predetermined destructive path, Pride resolves to change the narrative and save the male characters of the game.
The original light novel series has been running since 2018, written by Tenichi and illustrated by Suzunosuke.
