New Journey in the “To Aru” Universe: spin-off and fourth season announced

The franchise around To Aru Majutsu no Index (A Certain Magical Index) is expanding. A new anime adaptation for the spin-off To Aru Anbu no Shoujo Kyousei (ITEM) is planned, and work is also underway on a fourth season of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun). A first short glimpse of both projects has already been presented.

Author Kazuma Kamachi welcomes the expansion of this universe and looks forward to the in-depth portrayal of the various characters. The spin-off focuses on the group ITEM, with Ami Koshimizu voicing Mugino Shizuri. In the fourth season of the series about Misaka Mikoto, Rina Satou returns to her role.
