New line-up, opening theme and first promo video for "I'm a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic" released

The first promotional video for the upcoming TV anime "I'm a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic" has been released, along with additional cast members and details about the opening theme. The fantasy series tells the story of a man who, while having a drink, suddenly finds himself in the body of Liam, the fifth son of a noble family.

The newly announced cast includes Yūya Hirose as Bruno, Liam's older brother and the fourth son, and Ryūichi Kijima as Alburebito, the eldest sibling. The first promo video features the opening theme song titled "Wonderlust!!!", performed by Saji. The video also offers a first look at the voices of Shizuka Itou as Scarlet, Takehito Koyasu as Raymond, and Rie Kugimiya as a mysterious girl.

The anime, set to premiere in January 2025, is directed by Kenichi Ishikura and animated by Studio Deen and Marvy Jack. Ayumu Murase voices the protagonist, Liam. Alongside the release, comments from actors Hirose and Kijima, as well as Saji members Yoshida Takumi, Yutani Shinya, and Yamazaki Yoshimitsu, were shared to build excitement for the series debut.
