Ahead of the upcoming anime adaptation of the romantic comedy "I Want to End This Love Game" (Japanese: Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai) by Yuki Domoto, the production team has revealed a new key visual, additional voice actors, the title music, and the exact broadcast schedule. The information was released on Monday along with comments from those involved.

The series will premiere on April 14, 2026, at 23:00 (JST) on Tokyo MX. It will also air on MBS (also starting April 14) and on BS Asahi from April 17.

The new key visual shows the two protagonists, Yukiya Asagi and Miku Sakura, as sixth graders beginning the "I love you game," as well as their development through high school. In this game, they must take turns saying "I love you"—whoever gets embarrassed first loses.

Four more voice actors are joining the main cast. Wakana Maruoka will play Wakana Asagi, Yukiya's younger sister who is in her first year of middle school. Takehito Koyasu voices Masaru Shinonome, Miku's uncle and the master of Café KANADE. Yui Ogura lends her voice to aspiring voice actress and university student Hinako Hanaba, who works at Café KANADE. Kaede Hondo is heard as Natsuki Moegi, a classmate of Yukiya and Miku who has been friends with Miku since middle school.

In their comments, the new voice actors expressed excitement about the heart-wrenching and sugary-sweet dynamic between the two main characters. Maruoka described their relationship as "so sweet you should have a savory snack ready." Koyasu, who plays the experienced café master, noted with a chuckle that he didn't experience such a carefree youth in his own childhood and finds it enviable—though for any future opportunity, he'd still prefer to play an adult again.

The opening theme for the series is provided by the duo CHiCO with HoneyWorks. Their song is titled "Kimi no Sei de Aishiteru" (roughly "Because of You, I'm in Love"). The ending theme is performed by PompadollS with the song "Little World." Both artists also shared their thoughts. CHiCO with HoneyWorks raved about the "cute" characters and the bittersweet emotional world of their mutual unrequited love, which they have expressed in the song.
