The third main PV has been released for the fantasy school anime "Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu" (The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch). The video showcases, among other things, the setting of the final exams, new costumes, and for the first time, several characters who come into focus in the second half of the series. The series has been airing as a continuous two-cour television anime in Japan since April 2026.

At the same time, the casting of another supporting character was announced: Comedian Attack Nishimoto (from the duo Jeradon) voices the role of Ursa Minoru, a male student of the Polaris class who possesses Virgo Magic. Ursa Minoru presents himself as a flower-loving, friendly young man who gives advice to Spica – but turns out to be a hidden masochist actively seeking a girlfriend. He will appear starting from episode 13, "Reminiscences of Mugiboshi" ("麦星の追想"). The producers have simultaneously outlined the plot of this chapter: During winter break, Claude visits Spica and tells her about his past with his former student Arc – a conversation that reveals the background of the antagonist.

Another highlight of the new PV is the announcement of the second opening song. Unlike the first cour, where ASCA sang the opening, Nanawo Akari now contributes the song "∞劣等星" (Mugen Rettōsei). The track, which already accompanies the third trailer, was written and arranged by producer tepe (OTOIRO). Akari describes the title as "driving and cool, fitting the ever-accelerating story of Spica and her friends." The ending theme for the second half, meanwhile, is sung by Shoko Nakagawa with "Twilight Magic," as confirmed by the anime's website.

"Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu" is based on the manga series of the same name by Yōsuke Kaneda, which has been serialized on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket platform since March 2022. The anime adaptation is produced at Studio Liden Films under the direction of Naomasa Tatsuwa; the series composition is handled by Midori Goto. The broadcast airs in Japan on Sundays at 11:30 PM in the "Agaru Anime" programming block on the 28 stations of the CBC/TBS network. Additionally, episodes can be seen on AT-X and BS12. All previous episodes of the series can be viewed on the official YouTube channel of the work.
